Chapter 7 Shlokas 20, 21
कामैस्तैस्तैर्हृतज्ञाना: प्रपद्यन्तेऽन्यदेवता:।
तं तं नियममास्थाय प्रकृत्या नियता: स्वया।।२०।।
यो यो यां यां तनुं भक्त: श्रद्धयार्चितुमिच्छति।
तस्य तस्याचलां श्रद्धां तामेव विदधाम्यहम्।।२१।
Impelled by their nature and gripped by varied desires,
the deluded worship other deities
in order to fulfil their cravings.
I strengthen the faith of such a devotee
in which ever deity he wishes to invoke with reverence.
Chapter 7 Shlokas 20, 21
कामैस्तैस्तैर्हृतज्ञाना: प्रपद्यन्तेऽन्यदेवता:।
तं तं नियममास्थाय प्रकृत्या नियता: स्वया।।२०।।
यो यो यां यां तनुं भक्त: श्रद्धयार्चितुमिच्छति।
तस्य तस्याचलां श्रद्धां तामेव विदधाम्यहम्।।२१।।
The Lord says, O Arjuna!
Impelled by their nature and gripped by varied desires, the deluded worship other deities in order to fulfil their cravings. I strengthen the faith of such a devotee in which ever deity he wishes to invoke with reverence.
Kamla, O aspirant of the Atma, carefully witness the Lord’s attitude towards Himself.
1. The Lord is completely silent towards Himself.
2. He is devoid of desire.
3. He transcends all attributes.
4. He is beyond raag and dvesh – attachment and hatred.
5. He is unaffected and detached.
6. He is devoid of ego.
7. He is ever satiated.
8. He abides in equanimity.
Worship of other deities and the strengthening of the individual’s faith in those deities by the Lord
The Lord explains the secret of His divine interaction.
a) “Those who do not repose their faith in Me,
b) Those who do not worship Me,
c) Those who do not desire Me,
d) Those who do the opposite of what I enjoin,
e) Those who reject Me,
f) Those who forget Me,
g) Those who malign My Name,
h) I am all – yet, they prefer to place the credit elsewhere,
i) Those who refuse to accept that I am the Giver of all joy, peace and worldly pleasures,
j) Those who do not believe that love, compassion and mercy originate from My Being,
k) Those who do not accept that I am the Creator of this beautiful world,
to such people I grant the fruit of their desire in accordance with their faith.”
Little one, the Lord does everything in silence. Yet, when people do not recognise His omnipotence and crave other objects, then the Lord:
1. augments their potential of attaining their desired goal;
2. provides the means that will fulfil their desire;
3. does not destroy their understanding and belief;
4. becomes their supporter and aide.
This is the scientific translation of That Divine Essence in life. This is the practical form of knowledge.
My very Self – Kamla, live in the world like the ‘kamal’ or lotus, and give proof of detachment as does the lotus. Thus shall you accomplish the essence of your name.
1. Adopt the Lord’s method in your life.
2. Give to others that which you desire.
3. Support others in what they aspire for.
4. If you cannot do anything for them, at least be sure not to be a hindrance in their path.
5. It is not right to impose your desire on the other.
6. Do not impose your intellect or understanding on another.
7. Do not let your mind obstruct your path or come in the way of the other’s desire.
8. Do not try to change another’s concepts. Do in life as the Lord Himself has exemplified. Do not shatter another’s faith.
The Lord says that He establishes the faith of people in the object of their faith. You also must do the same. The Lord’s Essence is inherent in such an attitude. This indeed is the core of divine knowledge and its practical application in life.
अध्याय ७
कामैस्तैस्तैर्हृतज्ञाना: प्रपद्यन्तेऽन्यदेवता:।
तं तं नियममास्थाय प्रकृत्या नियता: स्वया।।२०।।
यो यो यां यां तनुं भक्त: श्रद्धयार्चितुमिच्छति।
तस्य तस्याचलां श्रद्धां तामेव विदधाम्यहम्।।२१।।
अब भगवान कहते हैं, हे अर्जुन!
शब्दार्थ :
१. अपने स्वभाव से विवश हुए,
२. विभिन्न कामनाओं के कारण विभ्रान्त मनी,
३. कामना पूर्ण करने के लिये अन्य देवताओं को ध्याते हैं।
४. जो जिसकी इच्छा करता हुआ,
५. जिस भी देवता की श्रद्धा से उपासना करता है,
६. उस भक्त की श्रद्धा मैं उस ही देवता में स्थिर करता हूँ।
तत्व विस्तार :
आत्म प्रिय कमला! भगवान की दृष्टि अपने प्रति ध्यान से देख!
भगवान अपने प्रति :
क) नितान्त मौन रहते हैं।
ख) चाह रहित होते हैं।
ग) गुणातीत होते हैं।
घ) राग द्वेष से सर्वथा अतीत होते हैं।
ङ) उदासीन होते हैं।
च) निरहंकार होते हैं।
छ) नित्य तृप्त होते हैं।
ज) समचित्त होते हैं।
अन्य देवता भजन तथा उसमें भगवान राही लोगों की श्रद्धा स्थिर करना :
देख! भगवान अपने व्यवहार का राज़ समझाते हैं। वह कहते हैं, ‘जो लोग,
1. मुझ में निष्ठा नहीं रखते,
2. मेरी पूजा नहीं करते,
3. जो मुझे नहीं चाहते,
4. जो मैं कहूँ, उससे विपरीत जाते हैं,
5. जो मुझको ही ठुकराते हैं।
6. जो मुझको ही दिल से भुलाते हैं।
7. नित्य मेरा अपमान करते हैं,
8. सब कुछ मैं हूँ, पर सेहरा किसी और को देते हैं,
9. सुख चैन, भोग समिधा, सब मैं ही देता हूँ, किन्तु वे ऐसा नहीं मानते,
10. प्रेम, करुणा, दया मुझ से उत्पन्न होते हैं, किन्तु वे ऐसा नहीं मानते,
11. सौन्दर्य पूर्ण संसार की रचना मैंने की है, वे ऐसा नहीं मानते,
तब मैं उन्हीं की श्रद्धा के अनुसार उन्हें उनके वांछित फल उपलब्ध करवाता हूँ।
नन्हीं! मौन में भगवान ने सब किया पर दूसरे लोग उन्हें न पहचान कर अन्य विषयों की कामना करते हैं तो भगवान,
क) उन्हीं की कामना पूर्ण कर शक्ति का वर्धन करते हैं।
ख) उन्हीं की कामना पूर्ण कर समिधा उनको देते हैं।
ग) उनकी मान्यता का भंजन नहीं करते।
घ) उन्हीं के सहयोगी बन जाते हैं।
ङ) उन्हीं का समर्थन करते हैं।
यही तत्व का गुह्य विज्ञान है। यही ज्ञान का रूप है।
मेरी आत्म रूप कमला! जीवन में कमल की भान्ति रहकर कमलत्व का प्रमाण दो। अपना नाम तो सार्थक कर लो!
1. ज्यों भगवान वर्तते हैं, वही विधि जीवन में अपना लो।
2. जो तुम चाहती हो, वह सब को दो।
3. जो कोई चाहता है, उसमें उसका साथ दो।
4. गर कुछ और न कर सको तो विघ्न मत डालो।
5. अपनी इच्छा दूजे पर आरोपण करना भला नहीं होता।
6. अपनी बुद्धि को भी किसी पर आरोपित न करो।
7. मन को राहों में मत आने दो, यही ज्ञान का विज्ञान रूप है।
8. किसी की मान्यता भंग न करो। वही करो जीवन में जो भगवान करते हैं। दूसरों की श्रद्धा भंग न करो।
भगवान कहते हैं कि वह लोगों की श्रद्धा उन्हीं के श्रद्धास्पद में स्थित करते हैं, तुम भी वही करो।
इसी में भगवान का स्वरूप निहित है। इसी में भगवान का ज्ञान तथा विज्ञान निहित है।
